what bodies of water wear
sagittarius season recap:
hydrating myself thanks to le creuset, aesop mulled wine,
and why i am only doing things my friend marcelle would do this year
december 2025
as a way to fill the void that comes with birthday reflections
and super full moons in gemini, i started this blog.
it is part of a bigger goal i have this year: following marcelle’s advice,
since i’ve realized over the past three years that she saw my mistakes coming.
it was my birthday last week, and my two sagittarius friends
and i threw a bad bunny–themed cabaret talent show.
all this frenchness got me thinking about moving to paris,
as mini and i had initially planned.
it would be a pit stop before i go to mexico city, of course.
marcelle told me i had to stop filling the void by just moving around
- which i don’t totally agree with - but i can’t start my
new year by going against my goal.
she also told me i should have a blog
and eat hong kong fried rice, which i did both.
the truth is, there’s something that ties me to london.
might be work, might be the macro food centre,
might just be marcelle’s voice in my head.
the other day marta was visiting, and we were drinking mulled wine
in borough market when she pointed at a shop and asked what brand it was.
she didn’t know aesop.
i basically have a bachelor’s degree in aesop.
i wrote essays, did projects, and trend reports on east london nomads
and their aesop obsession — back in 2023, when you wouldn’t see those scent notes
everywhere. i don’t know if people would relate to my aesop jokes
in paris; the perfume humor scene is different there.
nahui and i are also growing our le creuset collection.
marcelle and madeleine gave me a water bottle and a tea cup for my birthday.
i sense it’s a way to keep me hydrated and tied to this city.
i couldn’t leave such an amazing shared collection behind.
i also have a brand-new work visa, so i can’t really throw it away, can i?
so, cheers to another year of being a london accutane baby!
but this year, i will be a london accutane baby blogger.
